Abstract
Un método y su correspondiente aparato para el reconocimiento de imagen en tiempo real, del tipo que opera por comparación con imágenes muestra, comprendiendo las fases de lectura y conversión de la imagen a reconocer en señales analógicas de luminosidad e individualizando los niveles de dichas señales; convirtiendo las señales individualizadas de valores analógicos a digitales de acuerdo con una escala de niveles de luminosidad; determinado una función de distribución para las frecuencias de niveles de luminosidad acumulando y almacenado valores de un mismo nivel de luminosidad; calculando los parametros típicos de la función de distribución para las frecuencias de nivel de luminosidad, comparando el conjunto de parámetros típicos de la imagen a reconocer con los conjuntos de parámetros almacenados correspondientes de una serie de imágenes muestra tomadas secuencialmente; determinando el valor mínimo de comparación entre los juegos de parámetros y generando una señal para identificar la imagen a reconocer con la imagen muestra que corresponde al valor de comparación determinado como mínimo, cuando este último es menor que un valor predeterminado de umbral.
