Abstract

Procedimiento para la identificación selectiva del organismo E.coli, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de proporcionar una composición que contiene una fuente de nutrientes, un indicador para mostrar la presencia del organismo E. Coli y medios para inhibir el crecimiento de otros organismos de tipo coliforme, que normalmente dan resultados positivos en el ensayo de E.Coli, mezclar una muestra patrón con dicha composición y detectar los cambios en las propiedades de transmisión de luz de dicha composición, causados por la actividad metabólica del organismo E.Coli en dicha composición.
