Abstract
Improvements introduced in the manufacturing process of transparent transparent ceramic glass ceramics, according to which a ceramizable glass composition containing titanium dioxide is melted in a proportion greater than 0.50% by weight and, optionally, iron oxide, then transformed the glass obtained in a glass-ceramic by means of a heat treatment known per se, characterized by the best because a decolorizing amount comprised between 0.03 and 0.75% by weight of neodym oxide is incorporated into the said ceramizable glass composition.
