Abstract

Un dispositivo para tratar materiales es sólidos y/o líquidos, en particular para enfriar y secar arena de moldear y para enfriar piezas fundidas con ayuda de un tambor accionado en forma giratoria y dispuesto horizontalmente, en el cual el tambor comprende en uno de sus extremos una abertura central y circular de entrada y en su otro extremo una abertura de salida, teniendo dicha abertura central de entrada un diámetro menor que la envoltura del tambor, caracterizado porque el elemento accionador engrana en el extremo de entrada del tambor alrededor de la abertura central y circular de entrada.
