Abstract

Un escudo para perforar túneles u otras cavidades cualesquiera, cuyas cuchillas perforadoras, sustentadas en un bastidor de apoyo y provistas de cuchillas seguidoras, que aseguran la zona posterior del escudo son hechas avanzar a presión en la dirección de perforación, bien sea de manera individual, o bien por grupos, asegurándose en el transcurso de la perforación la pared del anchurón por medio de un revestimiento de hormigón que visto en la dirección periférica de la sección transversal del anchurón, se confecciona por secciones, de tal modo que el hormigón proyectado se aplica sobre las zonas superficiales de forma de franjas que han quedado al descubierto al ser hechas avanzar sucesivamente las cuchillas seguidoras o respectivamente los grupos de cuchillas seguidoras o respectivamente los grupos de cuchillas seguidoras, antes de que sea hecha avanzar en cada caso la cuchilla seguidora inmediata siguiente, o respectivamente el grupo siguiente de cuchillas seguidoras caracterizado porquelas cuchillas seguidoras son desplazables en la dirección de perforación, con relación a sus cuchillas perforadoras.
