Abstract
Un dispositivo para medir la absorción de radiación en una porción de un cuerpo, particularmente en un paciente sometido a rayos X, dispositivo que comprende un radiador que emite un haz de radiación en abanico que envuelve por completo un cuerpo que se va a examinar, una formación o disposición regular de detectores, dispuestos detrás del cuerpo, para medir la intensidad local de radiación, y un mecanismo de movimiento para hacer girar el sistema de radiador y detectores durante una mediación, caracterizado por el hecho de habilitarse un dispositivo protector o de pantalla que se mueve con el radiador trasladándose durante la medición pero que no se hace girar, por lo menos mientras está presente en el trayecto de haz, siendo el ángulo de rotación del sistema de radiador y detectores igual a la suma del ángulo de exploración (beta) y el ángulo de abertura (alfa) del haz de radiación en abanico.
