Abstract

The apparatus is for building brick packs from wet or fired bricks by which a first layer of bricks is positioned flat on a support. The suppor with the first layer of bricks is then turned about a vertical axis and a second layer of bricks is positioned flat on the first layer. The turning of the support and the placing of the brick layers on top of each other is continued until the brick stack reaches a predetermined height. The support with the positioned brick layers is turned about 90 deg. alternatively in one and then opposite direction of rotation. The brick layers are lifted in a position which is higher than the top level of already positioned layers on the support and subsequently they are pushed by an sidewards movement on the top layer of the support.
