Abstract

Improvements introduced into a reversible plow, characterized by a short tiller, plow body support legs, right and left, each pivotably secured to the tiller in vertically opposite positions, so as to allow movement, when supported suspended, from the rudder in the operating position, in a vertical plane up and back, a head on which the front end of the rudder is pivotably mounted in upper and lower positions respectively above and below the rudder axis, so as to allow the rotation of the rudder in a vertical plane around the upper one of said positions, while the rudder is separated from the head in the lower one of said positions, elastic means that load the rudder against the rotation in relation to the head and also load each support leg against pivoting movement up and back when the support leg is in operating position, the arrangement being such that when the plow body is applied in work with an obstruction that causes vertical and horizontal components of force on the plow body, the rudder is rotated in relation to the head and in the event that the vertical components of the force exceed a predetermined value, the support leg of the working plow body and the plow body on it are rotated relative to the rudder, until the attitude of the plow body relative to obstruction allows the plow body to rise and slide over the obstruction, after which the elastic means rotate the rudder and support leg back, causing the plow body to re-enter the operating position of work.
