Abstract

Refinements introduced in an electrophotographic apparatus having a photoconductor with the usual electrophotographic facilities for charging, imaging, developing, transferring and cleaning, the improvements of which include: first generating means of a first polarity that are located in proximity to the photoconductor to define a pre-charge/transfer station; second generating means of opposite polarity which are located in proximity to the photoconductor and after the first generating means for defining a final pre-cleaning/pre-cleaning station; switching means functionally associated with said second generating means for switching the second generating means at different levels in order to pre-clean or final charge the photoconductor.
