Abstract
Procedure for obtaining rubber latex immersion articles, characterized in that a mixture of monomers of: a) 85 to 50 parts by weight of butadiene and/or isoprene, b) 10 to 40 parts by weight of acrylonitrile or methacrylnitrile, c) 0 to 40 parts by weight of styrene, d) 0 to 10 parts by weight of acrylamide, methacrylamide and/or its methylene derivatives, and e) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of an α, β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, it is polystyrene in an aqueous emulsion in the presence of 0.5 to 6.0% by weight, based on all of the monomer, of an alkylaryl sulphonate and 0 to 5% by weight based on all of the monomer, of one or more substances surfactants as emulsifiers, at a pH value less than 7, and the pH of the resulting latex is adjusted to a value greater than 8 with an alkali metal hydroxide after polymerization is complete, thereby forming a rubber latex with a particle diameter of gum on average not exceeding 200 nm and containing gum with a Defo value of less than 2,000 and the rubber is precipitated from the latex by a coagulant.
