Improvements in apparatus for the treatment of contaminated aqueous media, characterized in that it comprises a receiving tank of aqueous media contaminated with organic and/or inorganic impurities, to produce a removable outlet mass and a hygienic effluent; means of admission to receive said aqueous medium; grinding means with liquid intake means in communication with the interior of said receiving tank and outlet duct means for returning the resulting liquid suspension to said receiving tank, means for introducing four additives to be mixed with said resulting liquid suspension, individually or in combination; means for mixing all of the aforementioned additives and said resulting liquid suspension, in order to produce a resulting mixture; means for carrying out two components, one of which is a concentrate of solids and the other an aqueous medium practically free of solids; means that interconnect said means used to effect mixing and said means used to effect separation; and means for discharging aqueous media practically free of solids, from the said means used to carry out the separation.
