Abstract

A coupling assembly for use in stressing multi-span post-tentioned concrete structures, comprising a coupling device in which opposite ends of the stressing wires or strands of two adjacent sections of the stressing tendon are anchored, wherein co-operating cone-shaped elements are operatively associated with said coupling device and with one another to cause said wires or strands of one of said tendon sections to follow an S-shaped path.
