Abstract
Preparation procedure for (N-diethylaminoethyl) -2-methoxy-5-methylsulfonylbenzamide represented by the formula **(See formula)** of its addition salts with pharmaceutically acceptable organic or mineral acids and of its quaternary ammonium salts, characterized in that 2-methoxy-5-methylsulfonylbenzaldehyde is treated with N, N-diethylaminoethylhydroxylamine, so that 2-methoxy-5- is obtained methylsulfonylbenzaldehyde- (N, N-diethylaminoethyl) nitrone and why it is hydrolyzed by means of an acid to obtain N- (diethylaminoethyl) -2-methoxy-5-methylsulfonylbenzamide.
