Abstract
A method of producing soap bars having indications incorporated therein, comprising; supplying a first stream of base soap material through the cylindrical body of a bar extruder and into an extruder nozzle; discharging a second stream of an insert soap material through an indication forming matrix into said cylindrical body; said soap insert material having substantially the same physical characteristics, including beta phase content, as said base soap material, said soap insert material being discharged into the mass of said base soap material, as said base soap material penetrates said extruder nozzle, said second stream being in the same direction and at substantially the same speed as said first stream; extruding said soap base material through said extruder nozzle to form a continuous soap bar, said extrusion step imparting an extrusion grain to said soap bar, and cutting said continuous soap bar into segments equal to the thickness desired for such bars of soap.
