Abstract
Procedure for thickening or dehydrating solids from industrial wastewater or sewage, which comprises adding an aqueous solution of a water-soluble vinyl addition polymer, formed by the inversion of a polymeric latex, to the wastewater or wastewater under coagulating conditions, allowing after the solids from said black or waste water are sedimented to obtain a transparent aqueous supernatant; characterized in that said polymer latex is produced by the operations of: A.
