Procedure to reproduce the expansion level of a first expansive cement in a second expansive cement, characterized in that it comprises determining the excess SO3 over the optimal SO3 in said first expansive cement and adding a sufficient quantity of calcium sulfate to a second expansive cement to give that same excess of SO3 over the optimal SO3 of said second expansive cement; the optimal SO3 being determined according to ASTM Standard 0563-70; comprising the expansive cements Portland cement, calcium aluminate cement and calcium sulfate; and the quantity and type of calcium aluminate cement being the same in the first expansive cement and in the second expansive cement mentioned.
