Abstract
Procedure for obtaining derivatives of 1-phenoxy-3-amino-propan-2-ol, of general formula I: **(See formula)** where X means **(See formula)** and the phenyl nucleus I may be substituted, one, two or three times, by alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, alkynyloxy, phenyl, halogen and the radical NR1R2, where R1 means alkyl or acyl and R2 means hydrogen or alkyl; its condensation products with aldehydes; and its acid addition salts; characterized in that a compound of general formula II **(See formula)** it is reacted with a compound of general formula III Y - X III where X means **(See formula)** and Y means halogen as long as X means (see formula) or also means -OH, -OK, -ONa, after which, if desired, the resulting compound of formula I is reacted with an aldehyde of formula R3-CHO, where R3 is hydrogen or a lower alkyl residue, to prepare the aldehyde condensation products, or with acids to prepare the acid addition salts.
