Abstract
A process for the preparation of organic pigments easily dispersible in organic media, characterized by treating the azo-acylacetylaril pigments, either in the dry state or in the form of alkaline aqueous dispersions, or in an anhydrous environment for organic solvents, at a temperature between 70º and 200ºC, for periods of time between 3 and 24 hours, with amounts between 3% and 40%, with respect to the weight of the pigment, of one or more compounds, amines selected from the group consisting of amino- heterocyclic compounds of general formula: ** (See formula) ** as well as the aliphatic diamines, precursors of the amino compounds of general formula (I), comprised by the general formula: ** (See formula) ** in which R represents, in both formulas, an aliphatic chain, saturated or unsaturated, containing from 7 to 23 carbon atoms, or natural or modified resin acids, possibly subjecting the pigment compositions thus prepared to a drying operation.
