Abstract
Procedure for the preparation of new N-vinylquinolones of the general formula ** (See formula) ** wherein one of the radicals R1 and R2 represents a hydrogen atom and the other together with means a 1,3-propylene radical, R4 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alcohol group and Y represents a hydroxyl, lower alkoxy or optionally substituted amino, as well as its pharmacologically safe salts, characterized in that: a) allyl quinolones of formula II are transposed ** (See formula) ** in which R1, R2, R3 and Y have the meanings indicated above and R5 means hydrogen or a lower alcohol group, which has a carbon atom less than R4, with strong bases, eventually at elevated temperature; or b) quinolones of formula III are condensed, with separation of Z and hydrogen from the amine ** (See formula) ** in which R1, R2, R3 and Y have the meanings indicated above, with compounds of formula IV ** (See formula) ** wherein R4 has the above meaning and X and Z represent reactive radicals or else together an oxygen or sulfur atom, and then X and one of the hydrogen atoms are removed in position α, after which it eventually becomes and subsequently in a manner known per se, and/or compounds I are transformed into their pharmacologically compatible salts.
