Abstract

In Example XVII a laminate was made by expanding particles of a copolymer between two pieces of kraft paper. The copolymer is derived from at least 50% by wt. of a vinyl aryl monomer of formula CH 2 =CR 1 R 2 where R 1 , is an aryl group and R 2 is H or C 1-3 alkyl and at least 28À5% of acrylonitrile or dimer thereof, and contains a volatile blowing agent.
