Abstract

A separating device for staple fiber materials, such as a wick, having a rotating separating member provided with opening tips, and a feeding member associated therewith, suitable for use in continuous spinning machines, without rings, of textile fibers, characterized in that the separating rotary member is formed by opening tips, driven by an external rotor of an electric motor and because a casing that surrounds the opening tips forms part of feeding members and of an outlet channel, this last to unload the separated fibers.
