Process for obtaining oils and gases from solid materials that can be distilled characterized by comprising the phases of: (A) in a first zone, pyrolysing said solid material by grinding contact of solid against solid, with solid bodies carrying heat to obtain vapors and oil gases, and a solid, carbonaceous residue, separating said heat-carrying bodies from said residue carbonaceous, and (B) in a second zone burning the combustible material in the solid carbonaceous waste to produce a residual heat carrier ash, and (C) in a third zone, pyrolyze fresh solid material by contact of solid against solid with said residual heat carrier ash, to obtain additional vapors and gases of oil.
