Abstract

A number of adjacent sleeves 14, preferably of a plastics material, have their open ends closed by a common sheet at each end. The sheet may be a metal foil and may carry a label or decorative matter. This construction ensures that each sleeve is easily detachable. The sleeves may be square, triangular, hexagonal, or may be sectors of a circle and may leave " free " an inner part 15. Preferably, a small gap is left between adjacent sleeves which may have a piece of card therein, or a tear strip, or a fold in the cover sheet. To provide a firmer package, the side walls 4, 5 of the sleeves may be as shown at 12 in Fig. 6 or may have the portions 12 at right angles to the walls 4, 5.
