Método de fabricación de vidrio plano en forma de cinta durante cuya fabricación el vidrio está en contacto con metal fundido, caracterizado por el mantenimiento en éste de por lo menos una pequeña cantidad o vestigio de un cuerpo simple con el que preferentemente reacciona una impureza existente en el metal fundido para formar un producto que, al menos en parte, se disuelve en la superficie inferior del vidrio.
