A textile garment of the type in question is known from DE 102012110104 A1.

"Ballistic protection" means, in particular, the personal protection provided by clothing close to the body, whereby the person wearing the clothing must be protected against the effects of an explosion and the resulting fragments, or the effects of this on the user should be reduced.

Research has shown that there is a sharp increase in injuries to the (lower) abdomen, particularly in the genital region, among military personnel, but also among civilians in conflict areas, particularly in areas where there is terrorist activity. regularly, for example, in Afghanistan. This is due, among other things, to the fact that terrorists use improvised explosive devices, so-called IEDs. These are explosive devices that are normally placed on the ground and act from the ground upwards. The prior art, referring here to US 6,961,958 B1, discloses a ballistically protective undergarment. Underwear here, for example, underpants, have pockets, into which ballistic protection pads are inserted. Ballistic protection pads can be made, for example, from a ballistic material known as SPECTRAFLEX® available from Allied Signal Company. It is also known from US 6,691,958 B1 to use aramid fibers or polyethylene fibres, eg Twaron™ and Dyneema™, to produce the protection pads to be pocketed.

The arrangement known from US 6,961,958 B1 provides comparatively good protection against a ballistic attack from the front, but provides insufficient protection against explosions caused by the aforementioned improvised explosive devices placed close to the ground. In addition, there is a risk that the protection pad, once inserted in the pockets, undesirably shifts. In addition, the person wearing the underwear is hampered by the protection pads, for example, when lying on the ground or going to crawl forward.

A further disadvantage of the known ballistic protection briefs is that their protection pads are only insufficiently coordinated with the locations of the (lower) abdomen that actually require protection in particular.

The garment document of the type in question describes an undergarment whose basic surface area is formed by a knitted fabric that inhibits the penetration of fragments and is made of UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) and another different textile material. The different textile materials or the different areas of which the underwear is made are sewn together. This invention was based on the consideration that, rather than the entire undergarment, it is essentially only necessary that the regions requiring particular protection be formed from a single knit fabric that inhibits fragment penetration. Within the context of this invention, therefore, it is assumed that it is sufficient to use the UHMWPE knitted fabric in a first zone of basic surface area, which requires particular protection. The invention was also based on the consideration, contrary to the prior art, as known from document US 6,961,958 B1, of eliminating the production of underwear in the first instance entirely from a material that does not provide ballistic protection. and then provide pockets to accommodate ballistic protection pads. On the contrary, to this, the document relating to the garment of the type in question describes that underwear is made by virtue of a plurality of different textile materials sewn together. This is intended to achieve the situation where the undergarment has a comparatively low mass per unit area and yet provides good protection.

However, it was found that the protection provided by an undergarment that is produced in a manner corresponding to the description of the document relating to the garment of the type in question is still worthy of improvement. One problem is that the aforementioned IEDs work in two waves. In a first case, a pressure wave acts on the textile garment, in particular the underwear. Therefore, the latter swells, and the seams with which the individual textile surfaces are sewn can break. Although the surfaces intended to ensure ballistic protection remain essentially intact, they are no longer necessarily located in the intended places, since it is possible that all other surfaces will be destroyed and, in particular, the seams will break. If, then, the second wave, due to the explosion, subjects the body to the action of fragments and dirt, ballistic protection is no longer reliably provided. Therefore, it is possible for fragments and dirt to penetrate into the body.

The first wave was found to give rise to excess pressure which greatly bulges or inflates the textile garment. The protective garment breaks as a result of this pressure and pumping action.

Documents US 2012/0128947 A1 or WO 2011/140487 A describe a protective material for protective suits, protective gloves, protective footwear and protective covers, wherein the protective material can be formed as a knitted fabric of a yarn that inhibits the penetration of splinters.

The present invention is based on the object of realizing a glove, socks, knee socks or bras which, compared to the prior art, provide better protection, in particular against improvised explosive devices placed close to the ground.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1.

Since the textile garment has at least one knitted fabric, which has a plurality of differently protected zones, where at least two different zones are seamlessly connected to each other, and at least one zone is formed by a thread which inhibits the penetration of fragments, the invention solves the previously described disadvantages of textile garments according to the prior art, in particular it improves the protection against improvised explosive devices placed in the vicinity of the ground.

All the advantages illustrated below with reference to a textile garment, and in which the garment is preferably a knitted fabric, can also be realized for a garment consisting of a knitted fabric and at least one fabric weave, connecting to knitting, unless explicitly stated otherwise or technically impossible.

Since the textile garment is preferably a knitted fabric and has a plurality of differently protected zones, where at least two different zones are seamlessly connected to each other and at least a first zone is formed by a yarn that inhibits fragment penetration, the invention overcomes the drawbacks of previously known ballistically protective textile garments.

The term "a plurality of zones" is understood to mean two or more zones.

The possible bands that may be present in the textile garment according to the invention do not count as a "zone" within the context of the invention.

The part of the textile garment that is formed by the first zone can be formed in one or more pieces. It is also possible that each of the other provided regions is arranged in one or more pieces, ie distributed over a plurality of regions.

The feature according to the invention so that "at least two different zones are uniformly connected to each other" does not presuppose that, when a zone is in more than one piece, i.e. it is divided into a plurality of regions of the textile garment, all the sub-surfaces of said zone are seamlessly connected to one or more (sub)surfaces of a different zone. It is enough that two (sub)surfaces from different zones are seamlessly connected to each other. However, it is preferable that all surfaces in one zone seamlessly connect to all surfaces in a different zone.

In the context of the invention, two zones are considered to be differently protected when their construction, i.e. the yarn used and/or the thickness of the yarn and/or the fabric and/or the structure of the yarn and /or the thickness of the layer and/or the number of layers arranged one on top of the other, gives rise to different levels of ballistic protection.

Different zones are considered, for example, two or more of the zones mentioned below:

a) an area that is woven from a yarn known to provide ballistic protection, in particular UHMWPE, aramid or Vectran®;

b) a zone that is constructed in a manner corresponding to zone a), but in which the thread that is to provide the ballistic protection is thicker and/or has a higher mass per unit area and/or a narrower fabric and/or a different number of layers arranged one above the other is provided;

c) an area where other properties, for example elasticity or air permeability, are important and which is produced simply by means of a minimum level of ballistic protection, preferably by using a coated yarn preferably having UHMWPE , aramid or Vectran®;

d) an area that does not incorporate any material known to provide a minimum level of ballistic protection, particularly where the area does not contain UHMWPE, aramid or Vectran® yarns.

According to the invention, it can be foreseen that the ballistic protection that the textile garment must provide is achieved solely from the fact that the knitted fabric has differently protected areas, without the need for additional protection pads, which according to the prior art they are inserted into the pockets.

Contrary to the teaching of the document relating to the textile garment of the type in question, i.e. DE 102012 110104 A1, the areas made of different materials, instead of being sewn together, are seamlessly connected to one another.

The inventor recognized that a perfect connection of the zones can significantly improve the level of protection provided by the textile garment. This avoids a previous problem, namely the rupture of the seams by the pressure wave of an explosion and the consequent failure of the ballistic protection.

Since the textile garment according to the invention is no longer broken by the pressure wave due to the seamless connection, the textile garment is also still in the intended position after the pressure wave and therefore Thus, the first zone, which is formed from a fragment penetration inhibiting yarn, can provide protection at the intended location and can protect the wearer of the garment.

Contrary to the other prior art, the invention also has the advantage that the formation of different zones allows different protective regions or other regions to be formed, and therefore the textile can also perform other functions, for example, it can regulate the warmth and provide a good fit.

The inventor also recognized that it is highly advantageous for the textile garment to fit closely to the wearer's body, and this avoids the situation where the first pressure wave causes the textile garment to inflate. In this case, it is particularly advantageous that the textile garment is configured in such a way that it is not simply straps that can be provided that make the garment fit closely to the body of the person wearing the garment, but to the whole body. The garment is formed to closely fit the person wearing the garment.

The inventor also recognized and solved another problem of prior art ballistic protection textiles, in particular according to the document relating to the garment of the type in question. If the individual zones are knitted independently of each other and then joined to form a textile garment, this inevitably results in open edges or predetermined break points. These open edges prevent the active forces from being distributed in the best possible way, since the filaments intersect directly at the periphery and the force can be absorbed by the filaments only up to this cutting point. The operation of soft ballistics, however, is based on the absorption and distribution of the kinetic energy that arises. The directly affected garment threads are destroyed and/or expanded by bullet/projectile penetration and thus distribute the energy to the surrounding threads. Since fabric weaves and laid fabrics generally occur at right angles, this energy distribution occurs predominantly in the longitudinal and transverse directions. The force is further distributed to the surrounding yarns through the fiber crossing points, resulting in a kind of chain reaction. The energy therefore spreads more and more to the individual threads until the kinetic energy of the bullet/projectile, when the latter tries to pass through the textile layer, has dissipated and the bullet/projectile stops.

Cutting ballistic clothing to size creates artificial “predetermined breaking points” and therefore the force acting on the threads can only be absorbed up to the cutting point. The present invention solves this problem. The individual zones are uniformly connected to each other and are preferably integrated with each other.

In this case it is advantageous that the areas of the textile garment are formed by endless threads that do not intersect at the periphery. It is preferable that each zone is formed by a single thread. This makes it possible to achieve a situation where the force produced by the bullet/projectile is carried out on the entire textile surface instead of only on the directly affected surface. Thus, the thread would (theoretically) dissipate force more or less infinitely, resulting in a reduction in the number of layers, an associated reduction in weight, and an improvement in trauma characteristics. In addition, the production from a yarn is more advantageous and environmentally friendly, since there is no waste and no additional costs to make the layers.

The construction of the textile garment from a plurality of zones has the advantage that the zones that provide the ballistic protection can be concentrated in the places that must be adequately protected. The other zones may incorporate correspondingly suitable materials, which provide, for example, heat regulation or advantageously ensure the elasticity of the garment.

The textile garment is designed in the form of a glove, an inner glove, a sock, a knee or a bra. In all possible configurations, the textile garment is preferably worn directly against the skin. It is advantageous that there is a second zone, which provides a higher level of ballistic protection than the first zone. It is possible that the second zone, which can also be formed in one or more pieces, that is to say, that it is made of a continuous surface or of a plurality of individual surfaces, is, in turn, uniformly joined to the other zones , and preferably to integrate with it. It is advantageous that the second zone, which provides a higher level of ballistic protection than the first zone, protects those regions of the wearer that are particularly at risk. It may be advantageous if the second zone, in the event that the textile garment is designed in the form of underpants, extends in one piece from the front part, in particular the external genitalia, towards the rear part and, in the process, protect in particular the perineum and anal region, particularly against fragments shooting up from the ground.

It is advantageous if the second zone is formed by a thread that inhibits fragment penetration, where the thread is thicker and/or the mass per unit area is greater and/or a tighter weave is provided than in the case of the thread in the first zone. This makes it possible to provide a higher level of protection. It is advantageous if the first zone has a single-layer design and the second zone has a two-layer or multi-layer design. As an alternative, it is also possible to provide that the first zone has a two-layer design and the second zone has a three-layer, four-layer or multi-layer design.

It is advantageous if the second zone is designed in the form of a spacer knit. This makes it possible to realize a double layer or, where appropriate, also a multiple layer. It has been found that a spacer knit is advantageous here, in particular with regard to breathability. Although the spacer fabric has multiple layers, it is not too stiff for the wearer.

According to the invention, provision can be made for the first zone to be designed in the form of a spacer knit.

According to the invention, it can be envisaged that the fragment penetration inhibiting yarn has either a UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) or aramid or Vectran®.

Aramid is short for "aromatic polyamide", a special form of polyamide. These polyamides are divided into para- and meta-aramids. Their mechanical properties make para-aramids suitable for protective clothing, i.e. ballistic protection and stab and cut protection. Meta-aramids are used specifically for heat protection. In the case of para-aramid polymers, the amide groups are located on opposite sides of a benzene ring and thus produce a rectilinear molecule chain structure.

The use of UHMWPE was found to be very suitable for ballistics and is already proposed in the document relating to the garment of the type in question.

It is also possible in principle to use PBO. PBO is an isotropic crystalline polymeric fiber and is a polybenzazolene. Due to its linear structure and aromatic heterocyclic groups, PBO is a rigid, rod-shaped macromolecule (similar to para-aramid). However, it is very difficult to PBO.

The use of Vectran® was found appropriate. This is a high performance multifilament yarn that is spun from liquid crystal polymers.

It is advantageous that the first zone and/or the second zone forms/forms at least that part of the textile garment which, when the textile garment is worn correctly, at least partially covers at least one of the regions of the human body which are mentioned below:

a) internal organs,

b) liver and/or kidneys and/or bladder and/or digestive organs and/or spleen,

Of course, when the garment textile is adjacent to one of the aforementioned regions only to some extent, or not at all, it is also the case that said regions cannot be protected by the garment textile.

It is preferred that a plurality, particularly preferably all, of the aforementioned regions are assigned to the first and/or the second zone.

It is advantageous if another region has an elastic thread or is formed from an elastic thread.

The additional zone here can be defined as a zone that requires a lower level of protection and where other properties are important, for example, the production of air circulation and elasticity to achieve a good fit. The additional zone can here be designed in the form of a comfort zone, optionally in the form of a so-called mesh, ie in the form of an air-permeable textile mesh fabric. Here it is also possible that the yarn selected for the additional zone is configured in such a way that it allows, or assists, the regulation of heat and/or the evacuation of perspiration from the body.

It may be advantageous if the additional zone is of fire-retardant and/or breathable design.

The part of the textile garment that is formed by the additional zone can be formed in one or more pieces. If it is formed in more than one piece, the additional zone can also have different properties, in particular, as described below, it can be designed with and without ballistic protection.

It may also be advantageous if the additional zone has a thread that inhibits the penetration of fragments. A yarn already mentioned above can be used for this purpose, in particular UHMWPE, aramid or Vectran®.

The inventor recognized that a covered yarn is particularly suitable for the additional zone. It is possible for the additional zone to have a coated yarn, or to be formed of a coated yarn, preferably having a core which is made of elastic yarn and has the fragment penetration inhibiting yarn wrapped around it. This solution was found to be particularly suitable because, on the one hand, it realizes a comfort zone with the desired properties, in particular the desired elasticity and good wearing comfort, and also results in the technical advantage of the textile garment. fitting closely to the user's body. An antibacterial finish of at least the first or second zone, preferably all zones, may be advantageous.

The reinforced zones, preferably knitted with a spacer knit, are intended in particular for protection in the genital and anal regions and for protection of arteries and veins. If a second zone is omitted, it is also possible to design the first zone in the manner described for the second zone. In particular, provision can be made for the first zone to also be made of a spacer knit or to be formed of a plurality of layers of the knit. In fact, it was found that the configuration of the textile garment with two protective zones (first zone and second zone) is particularly appropriate; however, if only one zone is to be formed, this zone may have one, more, or all of the properties and options described in connection with the second zone.

The configuration of the textile garment with only one protection zone ("first zone"), as described above, is appropriate, in particular, when the textile garment is a sock, a knee or a bra. In these configurations, it may be sufficient if the protection zone provided is one that is seamlessly connected to an additional zone, which is preferably designed in the form of an elastic zone or comfort zone. In addition, it is also possible for textile garments designed in the form of a sock, knee-high sock or bra to have bands, which are preferably likewise seamlessly connected to the protection zone and/or the additional zone. There may be one or more bands provided. The additional zones and also the protective zones can each be formed in one or more pieces, as already described.

In the event that the textile garment is configured in the form of an inner glove or glove, it may also be sufficient to form a protection zone ("first zone"), which, in turn, is evenly connected to a further zone , preferably an elastic zone or a comfort zone. It is also possible that the glove-shaped textile garment also has straps, preferably only one strap in the region of the wearer's wrist, where the strap is seamlessly connected to the protection zone and/or the additional zone .

In all these cases, however, it can also be provided that, for example, a band, preferably seamless, is connected to the first zone.

It is possible that the additional area, which can be arranged in the comfort region, is made of an elastic net and/or a jersey fabric, possibly with UHMWPE yarns. The high performance filaments can be woven into them so that the textile garment, particularly underpants, does not tear.

The bands are made of an elastic and skin-friendly material. The bands are attached, preferably seamlessly, namely to the sock, knee-high sock, bra, inner glove or glove.

Instead of using synthetic materials for the net, jersey fabric and bands, viscose or cotton or other known skin-friendly materials can also be used. For the additional flame retardant property (FR property) a special yarn can be used, which is preferably also skin-friendly.

All the variants described in detail above using UHMWPE can also be realized with the help of aramid to form the ballistic material. This is recommended, in particular, due to the flame retardant properties. In this case, it may be advantageous to use a yarn of 420 dtex to 550 dtex.

The regions that should preferably be at least partially protected, or for which it may be advantageous to form the first zone or the second zone, are the arteries and the veins, the internal organs: the abdomen and the urinary tract, the external and internal genitalia , the perineum and anus region and the inner thighs. The areas where a reduced degree of protection is recommended, that is, the comfort region, are in particular the muscle and bone regions. Preferably, the additional zone can be formed here.

Preferably, the first and second zones can be produced, at least in part, by plating. It is advantageous if the inner side is made of UHMWPE, aramid or Vectran® and if the outer side is woven from a fire retardant material and printed, if applicable, with a camouflage print.

It is advantageous if the thickness of the yarn used for the production of the first zone from UHMWPE is at least 50 dtex, preferably at least 80 dtex, particularly preferably at least 200 dtex. It is advantageous if the thickness of the yarn used to produce the first zone from UHMWPE is less than 880 dtex, preferably less than 700 dtex. A yarn thickness for producing a first zone of UHMWPE of 220 to 440 dtex, preferably 440 dtex /- 20 dtex, was found to be particularly suitable.

It is advantageous if a first zone of UHMWPE with a high level of moisture absorption is formed, in particular with a Ret value according to DIN EN 31092 of 4.3895 m2 x Pa/W /- 20%, preferably /- 5% , relative to a single layer configuration of the first zone made of UHMWPE.

According to the invention, it can be provided that the textile garment has a quick release function, also called "medical release", so that the textile garment can be quickly removed from the wearer's body without the wearer having to remove the garment in the usual way. To this end, provision can be made according to the invention for a thread of the textile garment to be configured in such a way that a predetermined breaking point occurs when the thread is pulled, i.e. the textile garment falls apart at this point. region. Here all the features and configurations that have already been described in connection with the invention can be exploited for which a plurality of differently protected areas are provided. The differently protected zones can preferably be a first zone, made with a yarn that prevents the penetration of fragments, and another zone whose construction differs due to the yarn used and/or the thickness of the yarn and/or the weft and/or or the yarn structure and/or the layer thickness and/or the number of layers arranged one on top of the other, thereby achieving a different level of protection.

The inner glove, the glove, the sock, the knee-high sock or the bra is preferably a knitted fabric or is designed entirely in the form of a knitted fabric. Here it can be provided that the glove, the inner glove, the sock, the knee-high sock or the bra have one or more bands, which preferably fit seamlessly and, in particular, are also designed in the form of a knitted fabric.

In a particularly advantageous configuration, the glove or the inner glove can have elastic zones, preferably in the region of the palm of the hand and/or on the back of the hand. The elastic region preferably extends from the back of the hand to the fingers. It is also possible for the glove or inner glove to have tactile areas preferably at the fingertips. The glove can be worn alone and, as an inner glove, in another glove.

The glove is preferably configured such that it has a high level of tactility, particularly in the fingertip region, to enable or facilitate typical soldier activities such as shooting or operating screens. Both the glove and the inner glove are preferably of a pre-curved design. Preferably, the inner glove and glove fit as closely as possible. In the case of an inner glove configuration, provision may be made for the inner glove to fit under a combat glove.

In a configuration of the inner glove, so that the latter can be firmly sewn to an outer glove, provision can be made for the inner glove to have, at the fingertips, small tabs, through which the inner glove can be firmly sewn. the outer glove.

According to the invention, provision can be made for the glove to have a first and a second protection zone, as already described in principle above. In particular, the regions that are important for operating instruments may have a somewhat thinner configuration than the other protective zones. According to the invention, provision can be made, in the case of an inner glove configuration, for said inner glove to have silicone threads or a partial application of silicone in certain places. The production of textiles and the various processing methods for textiles are common knowledge of the prior art, therefore only the specific special features of the textile garment according to the invention will be discussed in more detail below.

A flat knitting machine is particularly suitable for producing the textile garment according to the invention.

All of the features of the illustrative embodiments illustrated below, in particular the features presented with reference to the various embodiments of the textile garment, may be combined with one another as desired. The characteristics that are mentioned in relation to one embodiment can also be transferred to the other embodiments to establish other advantageous variants of the textile garment according to the invention. It is also possible to dispense with features of the embodiment forms that are not explicitly mentioned as being essential to the invention.

The illustrative embodiments illustrated below show a textile garment that is designed in the form of briefs 100 or in the form of a vest 200 or T-shirt or in the form of a head covering 300, bandana, scarf, tubular scarf or balaclava. However, the invention is not limited to this. The invention can, in particular, also relate to other items of clothing in which ballistic protection is advantageous.

The illustrated briefs 100 are men's briefs. However, it is also possible for women's pants to be configured analogously.

Figure 1 shows a ballistically protective textile garment configured in the form of briefs 100. The briefs 100 is designed in the form of a knit fabric and has a plurality of different zones 1,2, 3. The zones 1, 2, 3 They seamlessly connect to each other. At least one first zone 1 is formed by a thread 5 that inhibits the penetration of fragments. An example of a fragment inhibiting thread 5 configuration is illustrated in Figure 9 . A multifilament yarn (multifilament yarn) is provided. According to the illustrative embodiment, zones 1, 2 and 3 are integrated with each other.

The fragment penetration inhibiting yarn 5 is a high strength yarn. The fragment penetration inhibiting yarn 5 can be, for example, in the form of UHMWPE, aramid or Vectran®. The yarn in the illustrative embodiment is formed of UHMWPE. However, the description is largely to be understood so that instead of a UHMWPE it is also possible to use aramid or Vectran®.

A particularly suitable UHMWPE is sold under the trade name Dyneema® by the Dutch chemical company Royal DSM NV Dyneema® is a high strength polyethylene fiber with a tensile strength ranging from 3 to 5 GPa. Dyneema® is a highly crystalline, highly stretched UHMWPE. Although the Dyneema® fiber is particularly suitable for producing the first zone 1 provided according to the invention, however, the invention is not restricted thereto.

In the illustrative embodiment according to Figures 1 and 2, provision is made for the areas of the person wearing the underpants 100 that are particularly exposed to risk to be formed by a second area 2. The second area 2 also comprises a thread 5 that inhibits fragment penetration, and to be referred to hereinafter as (but not limited to) UHMWPE (this also applies to the other illustrative embodiments). In contrast to the first zone 1, in the second zone 2 it is expected that more UHMWPE 5 yarn is used and/or the fabric is narrower and/or the UHMWPE 5 yarn is thicker and/or the fabric knit to be designed in the form of a spacer knit in the region of the second zone 2. The production of a spacer knit is known in principle. For this, a hair thread is usually used. In the illustrative embodiment it is provided that the second zone 2 is made in the form of a spacer knit.

The illustrative embodiment according to Figures 1 and 2 provides three separate zones 1 and three separate zones 2.

With regard to the layout and design of the first zone 1 and the second zone 2, and the way in which they are divided, reference is made to the illustration of Figures 1 and 2. It is also possible, in principle, that the regions in which, in the illustrative embodiment, the first zone 1 or the second zone 2 is illustrated as having a single zone, namely zone 1, throughout its extension, although, where appropriate, also configured therein in the form of spacer knit or configured with one, two or more layers. The illustrative embodiment should not be understood to mean that it is imperative that a zone 2 be provided. It is also possible that only the first zone 1 is realized at all, in which case, however, said first zone may also have the properties of the second. zone 2 throughout, that is, if appropriate, and if desired, can have more than one layer. The same applies to the other illustrative embodiments as well.

In illustrative embodiments, the second zone 2, if present, is envisioned to have a greater mass per unit area than the first zone 1.

It is also preferably envisaged, in the illustrative embodiments, that the first zone 1 is single-layered, while the second zone 2, if present, is preferably two-layered, which in the illustrative embodiment is achieved by being configured in the form spacer knit.

As can be seen from Figures 1 and 2, in this illustrative embodiment it is envisaged that the briefs 100 will be formed from an additional zone 3 in the outer leg region or outer thigh region. The additional zone 3 has an elastic thread 6 or is formed by an elastic thread 6.

Two zones 3 are provided in the illustrative embodiment according to Figure 1 and Figure 2.

The additional zone 3 can be of flame retardant and/or breathable design. In the illustrative embodiment, zone 3 is envisioned to have a breathable and flame retardant design.

It can also be envisaged, in the illustrative embodiment, that the additional zone 3 according to Figures 1 and 2 is designed in the form of a mesh.

Illustrated in Figures 7 and 8 is a covered yarn 7, which is particularly suitable for forming the additional zone 3 in all illustrative embodiments.

Figures 7 and 8 show a very abstract illustration. The elastic yarn 6 forms the core of the covered yarn 7. The elastic yarn 6 is preferably designed in the form of an elastane core or is preferably formed from elastane. The elastic yarn 6 here has a preferably high-strength material (preferably a fragment-inhibiting yarn 5, particularly preferably in the form of UHMWPE (possibly also in the form of aramid or Vectran®)) wound around it. Figures 7 and 8 here, in order to show the construction clearly, illustrate large gaps when the yarn 5 is wound around the core. However, it actually happens that the fragment-inhibiting wire 5 is wound so tightly that there are no gaps between the individual windings here. Figure 7 differs from Figure 8 only in that a single thread is wound around elastic core 6 in Figure 7, while two threads 5 are wound around elastic thread 6 in Figure 8.

It is also possible that the variant of the covered yarn 7 illustrated in Figure 8 has, in an advantageous configuration, two yarns 5 having different properties and/or consisting of different materials. For example, one of the threads 5 can be a high-strength material, preferably a fragment-inhibiting thread of the already described configuration including the variants already described, while the second thread 5 is a flame retardant thread. This means that the covered yarn 7, in addition to elasticity, also provides two other advantageous properties by being made of two different yarns 5 . It is also possible to use two cotton threads, preferably one of the threads, or even both threads, which have an FR or flame retardant finish.

It is also possible, in principle, for a covered yarn to have more than two yarns 5. In this case, the yarns 5 can be formed from the same material or from different materials.

A coated thread 7 is particularly suitable for forming the additional zone 3, since in this way a certain minimum level of ballistic protection can also be realized.

As can also be seen from Figures 1 and 2, the underpants 100 illustrated therein have bands 4, where the bands 4 have an elastic thread 6 or are formed of an elastic thread 6. A particularly high level of elasticity is advantageous in this case. region. Again, a fire retardant configuration can also be provided here. The yarn which is used to produce the bands 4 may once again be a coated yarn of suitable construction. A material that is typically used for the manufacture of bands, in particular, has a particularly high level of elasticity, can also be used here.

In Figure 1 a seam 8 is illustrated by way of example. This seam 8 simply serves to form the flat knitted fabric without seams in a textile body that is closed around its entire circumference, said textile body being according to Figure 1 a pair of underpants. This operation depends on the weaving machine. The illustrative embodiment provides the use of a knitting machine, where the ends of the seamless knitted fabric should be connected together to form a closed textile body. By closed textile body it should be understood here that said body has, for example, the form of underpants 100, of a vest 200, of a T-shirt, of a head covering 300, of a head scarf, of a tubular scarf, of a balaclava, of a 500 sock, of a 600 knee-high sock, of a 700 glove or underglove, or of a 400 bra.

A closed textile body can also be understood here as a part of the torso, as illustrated in Figures 18 and 19.

As illustrated in Figure 1, the seam 8 preferably runs in such a way that, instead of running between two zones 1, 2, 3, it runs within one zone, in particular so as not to weaken the seamless connection between two zones. However, it would in principle also be possible for the seam 8 to run between two zones 1, 2, 3. This does not alter anything, within the scope of the invention, with regard to the fact that the zones 1, 2, 3 are connected in evenly with each other.

Figures 3 and 4 show the textile garment according to the invention configured in the form of a vest 200 or a T-shirt. Vest 200 is exemplarily designed with sleeves in Figures 3 and 4, but this is optional.

As is also the case with the underpants 100 already described, the vest 200 has a first zone 1, a second zone 2 and an additional zone 3 and also bands 4. With respect to the configuration of zones 1, 2, 3 and the bands 4, and the manufacture thereof, reference is made to the description relating to the underpants 100. With respect to the preferably contemplated design and arrangement of the zones 1, 2, 3 and of the bands 4, and the way in that are divided, reference is made to the illustration in Figures 3 and 4.

Analogously to the underpants 100, it is also envisaged, in the case of the vest 200, that the first zone 1 is constructed in the manner described in relation to the second zone 2 of the underpants 100.

The formation of the second zone 2 is optional in the case of the vest 200 illustrated in Figures 3 and 4. In the case of the vest 200 illustrated, the second zone 2 has only one particular function to perform in any case. The second zone 2 is intended to form a harness or a rescue handle 9, by means of which it should be possible to lift the person wearing the vest 200 or move him, in case of injury, out of the way of danger. In the illustrative embodiment here, the harness 9 runs from the back across the chest and/or from the back below the armpits to the shoulder and, in the rear, around the wearer's neck, when the vest 200 is worn. correctly. In the case of a design in the form of a vest 200 according to Figures 3 and 4, it is optionally provided that two padding arrangements 10 are formed in the shoulder region, to facilitate the carrying of backpacks or packs. These padding arrangements can be realized by the application of a separate pad or by the suitable shaping of the knitted fabric in this region, for example also by the formation of a spacer knitted fabric, in particular without ballistic protection being provided here.

Likewise, it is optional, in the case of the vest 200 illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, to provide for pockets 11 to be formed in the area of the sleeves and/or the area of the waist, preferably woven in the area of the sleeves. in particular, the region of the band 4 that extends around the waist. With regard to the preferably envisaged design and arrangement of the zones 1, 3 and bands 4, and the manner in which they are divided, reference is made to the illustration of Figures 10 and 11. However, the invention is not limited to this. With the exception of the specific female shape in the chest region, the embodiments according to Figures 3 and 4 and also 10 and 11 can be realized for either male or female users.

Figures 12 and 13 show the textile garment configured in the form of a bra 400. All the variants and configurations that have already been described in connection with the vest 200 according to Figures 3 and 4 and also 10 and 11 can be realized for a 400 bra.

In the illustrative embodiment according to Figures 12 and 13, the bra 400 is envisaged to have a protected zone 1, which is seamlessly connected to an additional two-part zone 3, which is a comfort zone and has already been described above. . The additional zone 3, as also already described, has improved elastic properties relative to zone 1 and can otherwise be configured in the manner illustrated in the other illustrative embodiments. Preferably four bands 4 are also provided, also referring, with respect to the configuration of said bands, to the illustrative embodiments already described.

Figures 5 and 6 show the textile garment configured in the form of a head covering 300, bandana, scarf, tube scarf or balaclava. To keep things simple, the text below refers only to a head covering 300. However, this can also be a bandana, scarf, tube scarf or balaclava.

The head covering 300 illustrated in Figures 5 and 6 once again has a first zone 1, a second zone 2, an additional zone 3 and bands 4.

A first zone 1a is provided, which differs from the first zone 1 by means of a higher level of air permeability and, where appropriate, a lower level of ballistic protection. In this case, the first zone 1a covers the user's mouth, when the head covering 300 is worn correctly. Preferably, the first zone 1a is provided to have a higher level of air permeability than the first zone 1.

Two different configurations of the additional zone 3 are also provided, which is further subdivided into an additional zone 3 and an additional zone 3a. Additional zone 3 differs from zone 3a in that additional zone 3, in addition to using an elastic yarn 6, also uses a high strength yarn, in particular a UHMWPE yarn 5, preferably by using a covered yarn 7 , as illustrated, by way of example, in Figures 7 and 8.

In the illustrative embodiment according to Figures 5 and 6, the further zone 3a here preferably has no high-strength yarn. It is an elastic knitted fabric in the form of a net, that is, preferably a mesh, preferably breathable and, in particular, elastic, which is provided in zone 3a, which is located in the upper region of the head of the cover for the head 300.
