Abstract

Un procedimiento para empaquetar uno o varios objetos en una lámina termoplástica encogible al calor, caracterizado porque el contenido del paquete se envuelve de tal modo con la lámina, que los bordes opuestos de ésta quedan solapados formando una especie de tubo flexible abierto por los dos extremos, después de lo cual se hace que se encoja la lámina de tal modo, que los extremos abiertos se contraen hacia el contenido del paquete, mientras que las secciones solapadas de la lámina quedan soldadas entre sí en caliente.
