Abstract

Un soplete de arco que incluye un electrodo de varilla no fungible, dispuesto en el interior de una boquilla que tiene un pasaje de salida estrechado, teniendo dicho electrodo su punta en la proximidad de la entrada de dicho pasaje, y comprendiendo dicha boquilla unos medios electródicos complementarios para producir con dicho electrodo de varilla un arco que, en presencia del gas que fluye a través de dicha boquilla, entra en el pasaje estrechado; caracterizándose dicho soplete por el hecho de que dichos medios electródicos complementarios comprenden uno o más electrodos preferentes que, al chocar con ellos el arco, adquieren una temperatura mayor de la que adquiriría la pared de boquilla adyacente al sufrir semejante choque.
