Abstract

A decorative and protective moulding is disclosed which combines a uniform coloured metallic appearance with a complex, irregularly shaped cross-section. The moulding comprises an elongate body (2:40) having a cross-section of complex irregular shape and having a channel (6,4), and a metallic pigment- containing thermoplastic layer (16,20:34,36) laminated on one portion (14:38) of the body (2:40), there optionally being a decorative metallic film (19:50) on another portion (15:46) of the outer surface of the elongate body (2:40), the body (2:40) optionally incorporating a ridge (44). <IMAGE>
