Abstract

A cord gripper comprises a body 31 having a through passage 32 which is divided longitudinally by gripping abutment 44 to provide two cord-gripping passages, and a gripping member 10 slideably supported on the body is provided with clamping areas 21, 22 disposed in the two passages and cooperating with respective associated gripping edges 45, 46 of the abutment. The sliding gripping member serves as a lid and is provided on the underside thereof with guiding projections 24, 25 which engage beneath corresponding guiding portions 41, 42 of the body.
