Abstract
La presente invención tiene por objeto un caudal�metro térmico para fluidos de inserción de bajo coste, compuesto por un cuerpo sensor que incluye un elemento calefactor y varios sensores de medida y por un cuerpo con un método de medida que combina la medida por tiempo de vuelo (TOF) y la medida de la distribución de temperatura en un elemento caliente (medidor calorimétrico), lo que le permite operar en un rango distinto al habitual en este tipo de sensores (mayor de 500 ml/min) y con un error reducido debido al método de la redundancia de medida y a la disminución del error de medida por compensación de la temperatura del fluido.The present invention aims at a thermal flowmeter for low-cost insertion fluids, consisting of a sensor body that includes a heating element and several measurement sensors and a body with a measurement method that combines the measurement by time of flight (TOF) and the measurement of the temperature distribution in a hot element (calorimetric meter), which allows it to operate in a different range than usual in this type of sensors (greater than 500 ml / min) and with a reduced error due to the measurement redundancy method and the decrease of the measurement error by compensation of the fluid temperature.
