Abstract
Mejoras en la cosntrucción de pistones bimetálicos, caracterizadas porque comprende una porción de cuerpo cilíndrica formada de un metal ligero de resistencia relativamente baja, una banda de un metal ferroso de alta resistencia, que circunda a dicha porción del cuerpo y está inserta en la misma, y una película de una aleación del metal de la porción del cuerpo y del metal ferroso de la banda interpuesta entre las superficies del cuerpo y de la banda en contacto para trabarlas entre sí.
