Abstract
Process for the preparation of water-soluble dyes, characterized in that a trihalogen-1,3,5-triazine is condensed, on the one hand with a dye which, in addition to an acylatable amino group and preferably also at least one group of water-soluble power, has a six-membered heterocyclic ring, bilaterally condensable to individual aromatic nuclei, which contains in para position with respect to a keto group, as the only heteroatom, a sulfur or nitrogen atom and possibly, on the other with ammonia, a hydroxyl compound, or a secondary amine at most so that a halogenotriazine radial is present in the condensation product that has originated.
