Dispositivo indicador de velocidad para el tablero de instrumentos de un vehículo a motor, que comprende un primer medio indicador dispuesto para ofrecer una continua indicación digital visual de la velocidad instantánea del vehículo, caracterizándose porque comprende, en asociación con el primer medio citado, un segundo medio indicador dispuesto para ofrecer una indicación visual de la gama de velocidades dentro de la cual se encuentra la indicación digital proporcionada por el primer medio mencionado, siendo activado el segundo medio indicador automática y sincronizadamente con el primer medio.
