Abstract

Procedimiento para conservar la luminosidad o brillantez de pinturas fosforescentes aplicadas sobre superficies vítreas o especulares, bien se trate de pinturas o coloraciones de fondo o de las que formen parte de dibujos o figuras, sea azogada o transparente la superficie a proteger, caracterizado porque se recorta a dimensiones similares a las de dicha superficie decorada una lámina de cristal o vídrio de buena calidad y del menor espesor posible, aplicándose seguidamente sobre la decorada de suerte que sus cantos coincidan exactamente superpuestos, y se procede a unir los citados cantos mediante un tratamiento térmico o químico, dotando o no de marco al conjunto así obtenido.
