Abstract

Procedimiento para obtener de gluma de arroz un material ininflamable antiexplosivo y refractario susceptible de múltiples aplicaciones caracterizado por el hecho de que mediante tratamientos térmico catalítico y de lavado combinados los elementos incombustibles son separados de la substancia vegetal de elevado contenido silícico quedando libre la parte silicificada ininflamable que una vez seca constituye en su conjunto un material que puede ser utilizado para la fabricación de una serie muy grande de productos distintos que tienen en común la propiedad de ser ininflamables antiexplosivos y refractarios y de no ser deformados por un prolongado contacto con el agua.
