Abstract

Prolonged-release pharmaceutical form and procedure for obtaining it the form comprises microcapsules made up of a polymeric wall which covers a core with one or more active principles which form a complex with an ion exchange resin the polymeric wall consists of a single layer of a mixture of one or more pH-independent and insoluble polymers and one or more pH-dependent polymers that are soluble in an aqueous medium from a pH greater than 5. The procedure involves: dissolution of a pH- independent polymer, a pH-dependent polymer and a plasticizer suspension of a complex formed by the active principle and the ion exchange resin, obtaining a first phase formation of a second phase by dissolution of an oil in a surfactant emulsification of the first phase in the second phase evaporation of the solvent, forming the microcapsules and washing of the microcapsules.
