Abstract
Electro-probe for measuring the moisture content of the soil and its compaction, corresponding measurement method and use of the said electro-probe. A probe is provided for measuring the electrical resistivity of the soil in the vertical direction by means of a georesistometer. The probe, designed in the form of a spike, has pairs of emitter 5a-5a and receiver electrodes 5b-5b mounted around a tube 2 for generating an electrical excitation signal and receiving an electrical return signal, which is a function of the soil's humidity and compaction. The electro-probe, in addition to being used for carrying out planimetries of the degrees of moisture of the soil and of its compaction through farming activity on it, can be used to generate a control signal for automatic control of an irrigation system.
