Abstract

In a centrifuge with rotor arms which can rotate about a common central shaft, the said arms having the purpose of holding cartridge receptacles, for the sake of better controllability each cartridge receptacle is provided with a blocking stop and an axially movable locking device is arranged on the rotor, which locking device can be moved into two switching positions. In one switching position a counterstop is effective which interacts with the blocking stop of the cartridge receptacle and prevents a pivoting movement of the cartridge receptacle. <IMAGE>
