Abstract

Parking time control system, with one or more mobile telephone networks and standard user terminals. In the first stage, the user enters data from his terminal including the registration number, parking area and the amount paid. In the second stage, the system stores the said data and sends it to the portable terminals of a watchman. In the third stage, the watchman enters registration details of the parked vehicles into his terminal to check if they are parked legally, the terminal having transmitted the data referred to in the first stage.In one form of the system, the system (1) is built from an administration module (2) which has a user warning centre (5), a subscriber, service and invoicing database management subsystem (6) and a transaction management system (7) a safety module (3) which includes a communications safety subsystem (8) and a user authentication system (9), and a radio communications module (4) which includes a communications subsystem (10) and a Bluetooth communications subsystem (11).
