Abstract

The high organic and moisture contents waste treatment comprises anaerobic fermentation to produce biogas and 60-95 per cent moisture-content degassed sludge, for cogeneration of the biogas. Also claimed is apparatus implementing the process. CLAIMED APPARATUS - The apparatus has a digester, a cogeneration system, a sludge concentration and drying assembly, and a boiler linked to a turbogenerator. EMBODIMENT - After concentration, the 25-35 per cent moisture content sludge is burned in the boiler.
