Abstract
Proyectil subcalibrado para escopeta. El proyectil (1) está constituido por un cuerpo en el que se determina una parte anterior (2) y una parte posterior (3), siendo ésta hueca. En la parte anterior está embebido y fijado a presión un vástago axial (4) que se remata en una punta dura (6) situada frontalmente, de configuración cónica y rematada en forma de casquete (7), cerrando esa punta (6) el extremo anterior de una cámara de aire (5) establecida axialmente en la parte (2) del cuerpo (1) del proyectil, de manera que en el impacto de éste último la punta (6) se desplaza hacia el interior de la cámara (5) produciendo una compresión de ésta y convirtiéndose el proyectil (1) en metralla. El cuerpo del proyectil (1) es cilíndrico y las estrías helicoidales externas, al igual que el cuerpo del que forman parte, son de plomo con alto contenido de antimonio, y debido a su elevada dureza se conservan intactas en el disparo, lo que unido a la parte posterior hueca (3) proporciona una gran precisiónde su trayectoria. El proyectil para su montaje sobre el arma se dispone sobre un contenedor en el que queda retenido y que actúa además como elemento amortiguador de presión y de obturador de los gases originados en el disparo.Undercalibrated projectile for shotgun. The projectile for mounting on the weapon is disposed on a container in which it is retained and which also acts as a pressure damping element and a seal for the gases originating in the firing.
