Abstract

Unit for the production of electrical energy from waves in the sea, consisting of a new way of extracting energy from waves on the sea, comprising two, or a number of, floats, using the difference in movement between them caused by the waves and using belts to transmit the power, cause mechanisms to rotate which are connected to electrical generators housed in the floats, the power from which is transmitted ashore by an output cable. One of the bodies is anchored to the bottom to immobilise it, with or without brake discs. It can be sunk and recovered as a precaution against natural disasters.<IMAGE>
