Las presas se encuentran montadas giratorias en las lamas gracias a unos medios de accionamiento en rotación que provocan un determinado recorrido angular de las mismas dependiendo de la posición de unos accionadores con el fin de que el escalador se agarre por lugares distintos en las presas, pudiéndose regular dichos accionadores y la inclinación del conjunto manualmente o mediante una unidad de control de acuerdo con la dificultad requerida.
