Abstract

Nuevo material absorbente estratificado, procedimiento para su fabricación y aplicaciones. El material está constituido por una capa intermedia 2 de una espuma polimérica, tipo esponja absorbente y retenedora de líquidos, y dos capas exteriores 1 de un material textil absorbente, con una estructura entretejida a base de fibras 3 de dicho material textil que atraviesan verticalmente la capa de espuma y unen transversalmente las tres capas formando un todo. El procedimiento comprende formar un estratificado a base de dichas tres capas mediante un proceso de punzonado que las entreteje en una estructura única donde la capa de espuma queda atravesada por las fibras de dicho material textil. Aplicación en la fabricación de artículos de limpieza altamente absorbentes y con elevada capacidad retenedora de líquidos.
