Abstract

Sistema de transformación de la energía de las olas del mar en energía eléctrica. El sistema está concebido para el aprovechamiento del movimiento de las olas del mar y transformarlo en un movimiento de giro capaz de mover un generador que produzca energía eléctrica. Dicho sistema es susceptible de montarse en cualquier lugar adecuado de una zona costera; constituyéndose a partir de una estructura soporte (1) sobre la que va situado un mástil (3) solidarizado por su extremo inferior a una boya (2) semisumergida sobre el agua del mar, de manera que los movimientos del oleaje se transmiten a través de la boya (2) al mástil (3) desplazando a éste en sentido ascendente/descendente, transmitiéndose sus movimientos a unas ruedas de tracción (7) que, mediante un mecanismo o caja de engranajes se transmite a un volante de inercia (15) y de éste a un generador (19) u otro dispositivo que se pretenda accionar.
