APPLICABLE TO COMPRESSED VIDEO SIGNALS PROCESSING SYSTEMS, WHICH GUARANTEES THE MAINTENANCE OF CELL SYNCHRONISM WITH ASYNCHRONOUS MODE OF TRANSFER FORMAT IN COMMUNICATION NETWORKS THAT ARE NOT MTA; AND THAT IT USES EXISTING VIDEO ENCODERS AND DECODERS FOR MTA NETWORKS. THE METHOD HAS A FIRST STAGE OF READING MTA CELLS FROM THE VIDEO ENCODER AND DETERMINATION OF WHETHER EACH CELL CONTAINS USEFUL INFORMATION OR NOT. IT HAS A SECOND STAGE OF ELIMINATION OF EMPTY CELLS AND DELIVERY OF USEFUL CELLS TO THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK. IT HAS A THIRD STAGE OF RECEPTION AND READING OF USEFUL CELLS RECEIVED FROM THE COMMUNICATION NETWORK DETERMINING FOR EACH CELL IF IT IS SYNCHRONISM OR DATA.
