Abstract

The case has wheels and a handle arranged at the top region of one shell of the case. Said handle can be folded down into a position of rest and folded up so that it projects forwards when the case is moved. The handle (1) has a closed bar (2), corresponding in its inside width (W) to the width of a hand, with a foot part (3) arranged so as to be swivellable in a hinge (4). The handle (1) is arranged in a depression (5) which surrounds it locally and lies in said depression in the folded-down position in alignment with the plane (x-x) of the case shell (6 or 7). The bar (2) is mounted off centre on the foot part (3) attached to one of the two case shells (6 or 7) and covers surface areas (8 or 9) of the case shells (6, 7) transversely to the separation plane (y-y). A partial region (10 or 11) of the depression (5) surrounding the handle (1) is present in each case in both case shells (6 and 7). <IMAGE>
