Improved box for electronic assemblies, of the type comprising a base sheet part comprising a bottom wall, two end walls and longitudinal fins and a sheet lid part having a front wall and two side walls, essentially characterized by the fact that said parts are molded and in the base part the longitudinal fins are joined to the end walls which, from the edge of said fins, are slightly narrower than the bottom wall, whereby in such regions where the end walls start up they define respective steps adjacent to the angles of the base part, while the cover part has in the respective end walls recesses in which the end walls of the base part fit, the two parts of which are coupled by tight-fitting tongue and groove by assembling the edges of the end walls and edges of the fins of the base part with the edges of the recesses and the side walls of the lid part thanks to ribs and grooves provided in correspondence in said parts, of which the base is provided in the bottom wall with perforated projections by means of which screws are provided that are screwed in matching perforated pilings provided in the lid part to ensure the coupling between both parts.
