Abstract
Mejoras introducidas en e1 objeto de la patente principal nº 202.171 por procedimiento para la preparación de monoésteres de ácido tereftálico en 1as que para la preparación de monoésteres de ácido benzoldicarboxílico particularmente del éster monometílico por oxidación de ésteres de ácido toluílico con oxigeno elemental o gases que contienen oxígeno a temperatura aumentada en fase liquida eventualmente bajo presión convenientemente en presencia de catalizadores como sales de metales pesados se caracterizan porque se somete éster de ácido m-toluílico particularmente el éster metílico a la oxidación.
