Abstract

The invention relates to a pedal-crank bearing for bicycles having two housing parts (1, 2), which can be inserted into the pedal-bearing frame sleeve and the bottoms of which have a pedal-crank shaft (5) passing through them, and which have two rolling-member races (7), which are arranged at a distance from each other, have tubular stubs of the housing parts (1, 2) fitted over them and have rolling members (8), which rolling-member races situated in the stubs face. In order to provide a pedal-crank bearing of this kind which is made of the least possible number of single components and which can be assembled in a simple manner and can form a preassembled pedal-bearing unit, it is proposed that the radially outer races situated in the stubs be each formed by pairs of rings (9, 10) which have conical surfaces directed towards the rolling members (8), that the pairs of rings (9, 10) are held in an axially non-displaceable manner by a cup-shaped shell (11) and that the stubs of the housing parts (1, 2) hold the cup-shaped shells (11) in an axially non-displaceable manner.
